Annenberg/CPB Video on Demand
NETCHE member Wayne State College is now hosting Annenberg/CPB video on demand (VoD). This allows Nebraska users fast access to hundreds of series from the Annenberg/CPB collection, such as the popular “Discovering Psychology, “The Western Tradition” and “Destinos: An Introduction to Spanish,” as well as professional development workshops for teachers in all discipline areas. The VoD service is available free of charge at www.learner.org.
With VoD, you can watch the Annenberg/CPB videos at any time. You can also skip around within a video when watching a VoD video. To access video on demand, go to www.learner.org and search or browse for a series that is of interest to you. Look for the VoD icon next to the individual program titles. Click on the VoD icon, and you will be prompted to register or to login for the first time only. There is no fee to register. All registrations from the state of Nebraska will be directed to the server at Wayne State College.
Videos may not be recorded, downloaded, or stored. For more information, please visit the VoD and Broadband Frequently Asked Questions page at www.learner.org/faq/faq_broadband.html.
