Title:   " Electing Women "

Electing Women looks at the process of how we elect women to political office. Women from both the state and national scenes are included in the program and they describe the issues unique to their situations. The history of women in office is touched upon, as is the current status of women in government. Today's elected officials share their thoughts on future elections and how they will be influenced by more women running for political office. Nebraska Representative Virginia Smith, Nebraska Governor Kay Orr, Nebraska State Senator Sandra Scofield, Colorado Representative Pat Schroeder, and former Kentucky Governor Martha Layne Collins are among those featured.
