Title: " Putting It All Together "
Putting it All Together starts with the first rehearsal and details the topics of blocking and interpretation. The progress of the actors from first reading to performance illustrates the growth of understanding that occurs as the production develops. Discussion between actor and director on movement and gesture gives insight into the final interpretation. Dress rehearsal is the time when everything must come together. Now the lights, costumes and sets must be background from which Othello plays out the tragedy. The final scene in the second lesson is from the actual production.
