Title:   " POW -- Atlanta Revisited "

This program is the story of a POW (prisoner of war) camp and the direct and permanent influence it had on the people of Nebraska. The camp at Atlanta, Nebraska, was the largest in a nine-state area, housing 5,000 German prisoners at its high point. Interviews with a former prisoner, prison guard and citizens of the Atlanta area highlight this historical documentary. Human interest stories, photos of the camp and the surrounding area are included. Central to the program is the return to the camp of William Oberdieck, a former prisoner now living in Nebraska City, Nebraska.
