Title:   " Identification "

As a teacher, you will see the symptoms of unpleasant emotions -- the student who does not or cannot concentrate on the task at hand; the student who is hostile to his fellow students or to his teachers; the student who is quiet and so obviously alone. Often, these character traits are lumped together as "problems at school." The truth may be much more specific than that. These so-called "problems at school" may be symptoms of stressful situations in the pupil's other environments -- at home, in the neighborhood or among peers.
