Title:   " Victims of Sexual Assault "

The psychological effects of sexual assault are examined in this lesson. Personal interviews provide painful insights of the individuals directly involved. Three people are interviewed. The assailant had been convicted of two assaults and was confined at the time of the interview. He describes his reasons for committing the assaults, his contacts with law enforcement officers and judiciary, and how he currently feels about the crimes. The victims' stories are inter-cut with the assailant's. They talk about their feelings toward the assailant and their reactions to law enforcement officers. Their individual stories provide insight into the psychological responses of sexual assault victims.
